According to Italian publication Calciomercato, Chelsea and Real Madrid are showing serious interest in signing Napoli’s Kvaratskhelia.
The Georgia international had a stellar campaign for the Serie A champions last season, scoring 12 goals and adding a further 10 assists.
Hailing from Georgia, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a revelation since signing for Napoli last year. The 22-year-old midfielder has showcased a blend of skill, creativity, and goal-scoring ability, making him one of the most sought-after talents in European football.
Chelsea, who are no strangers to spending big money to land their targets, are eyeing up a mega move for Kvaratskhelia in an attempt to turn around their league form. The Blues have a plethora of attacking talent in their squad, but believe Kvaratskhelia is the man to thrust them into a challenge for Champions League qualification.
Kvaratskhelia brings versatility to the table. Capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or on the wings, he possesses the flair and vision to unlock defenses. Napoli are reportedly demanding a fee of €100M to part with their star player. If Chelsea are unable to come up with this figure, then La Liga giants Real Madrid are said to be waiting in the wings to pip them to what would be a remarkable signing.
